a pair of shears is seperated into 2 parts with each part wired to a contact mic, cellphone and radio tramitter. One half is sent to Dunedin and the other half kept in Wellington. By scraping the shear along a surface this sound is transmitted to the other shear, only the opposite shears sound can be heard via radio. For Port to Port, Port Chalmers, New Zealand and Portugal.
